CHANGE MANAGEMENTManaging any change within an organisation is best achieved by working in tandem with an Internal Change Management Team (CMT). We work with internal CMTs to help build an understanding and gain buy-in to the change required. This involves engaging all key stakeholders in understanding how work is done at present and exploring how things can be done differently once the new system has been implemented. This process gathering work requires a series of workshops with all staff involved in all the key process areas. Although this seems very labour intensive it is essential in order to achieve ownership of the new processes and provide the strong foundation for sustainable behavioural change. A key pre-requisite to delivering the change is strong top down support for the change and encouragement to staff to attend workshops, whilst maintaining ‘business as usual’. As with any change work, it may be only one of many key change initiatives underway within an organisation and, as such, must be presented within that context. |
